<br><div><p class=”wp–block–paragraph“>UGREEN has released details of a new Nexode Pro Series, a line–up of three GaN based USB–C chargers that each combine a live on–device screen with, in two of the three cases, monitoring and control through a companion app. The range spans a 100W four port wall charger, a 160W model built around an integrated retractable cable, and a 300W desktop unit aimed at multi–device workstations. Materials sent to press carry an embargo date of 6 August 2026.p><p class=”wp–block–paragraph“>The three products are the UGREEN Nexode Pro Charger 100W 4 Port, the UGREEN Nexode Pro 160W Charger with Retractable Cable, and the UGREEN Nexode Pro 300W Desktop Charger. Every model in the range uses UGREEN’s GaNInfinity branding for its gallium nitride circuitry and includes a Smart Display that shows real time charging information such as total output, per port wattage, voltage, current, protocol and temperature.p><h2 class=”wp–block–heading“><strong>About the Nexode Pro Seriesstrong>h2><p class=”wp–block–paragraph“>UGREEN describes the Nexode Pro Series as an attempt to bring together three things it says buyers now expect from a premium charger: high power output, a clear view of what each connected device is drawing, and, on the 160W and 300W models, the ability to check and adjust charging remotely through the UgreenConnect app. The company says the range was informed by a review of consumer feedback and charging behaviour gathered across Europe, which it says pointed to two consistent themes among buyers, a wish to replace several separate chargers with a single higher power unit, and a wish to have real time visibility into how that unit is distributing power across connected devices.p><p class=”wp–block–paragraph“>Gallium nitride, or GaN, is the semiconductor material behind most higher wattage USB–C chargers released over the past few years. It switches current more efficiently at high frequencies than the older silicon transistors it has largely replaced, which cuts the amount of energy lost as heat and allows manufacturers to fit more output into a smaller housing. UGREEN calls it the world’s first 160W Smart Display charger with an integrated retractable cable, though this claim comes from the company rather than independent testing. Both the retractable cable and the separate USB–C1 port are rated to output up to 140W on their own, intended to give a high performance laptop a full speed single port charge whichever connection is used. Combined output across all ports on the unit is capped at 160W.p><p class=”wp–block–paragraph“>The charger has four ports in total: three USB–C, one of which is the retractable cable, and one USB–A, allowing up to four devices to be charged at once with power distributed automatically between them through what UGREEN calls SmartCharge. The Smart Display on the front shows live output, voltage, current, protocol, temperature and power allocation across the ports, and the same information, along with additional settings, can be viewed remotely through the UgreenConnect app.p><p class=”wp–block–paragraph“>UGREEN’s own figures suggest the unit can deliver 100W to one USB–C port and 60W to another at the same time, and the company cites a test in which a MacBook Pro (M4) and a MacBook Air (M4) were charged together from empty to 50 percent in 31 minutes. As with all manufacturer supplied figures, actual results will vary with the devices and cables used. It offers eight physical charging outputs, made up of six USB–C ports, one USB–A port and one dedicated DC output, and UGREEN says it can power up to seven connected devices at the same time. Three of the USB–C ports, labelled C1 to C3, each support up to 140W individually, while C4 and C5 are rated to 100W and C6 tops out at 30W. The USB–A port is limited to 22.5W. The DC output is rated separately at up to 240W, offered at 12V, 15V or 20V and up to 12A, intended for compatible desktop equipment rather than USB–C devices.p><p class=”wp–block–paragraph“>Total output across the unit is capped at 300W, and UGREEN quotes a test in which two MacBook Pro laptops connected at the same time were charged from empty to 50 percent in 28 minutes, again a figure supplied by the manufacturer rather than independently verified.p><p class=”wp–block–paragraph“>The desktop charger includes a TFT Smart Display that shows total output, per port power, voltage, current, protocol and temperature, and pairs with the UgreenConnect app over WiFi or Bluetooth for remote monitoring, personalisation and over the air firmware updates. A physical button on the unit is provided alongside the touch display. Five selectable charging modes are built in: Adaptive Power, Thermal–Safe Charging, Priority Charging, DC Turbo Charging and a Custom Power option, letting the balance between speed and heat be adjusted for different uses. UGREEN also highlights the finish of the unit, describing a coating inspired by automotive interior materials.p><p class=”wp–block–paragraph“>The 300W charger measures 112 x 86.5 x 45.7mm and ships with a cable and stand included, for a combined weight of 990g across the main unit, cable and stand. It has three USB–C ports and one USB–A port. Two of the USB–C ports, C1 and C2, each support up to 100W individually, described by UGREEN as laptop grade charging on either port so that users do not need to check which socket delivers the higher output before plugging in. The third USB–C port, C3, is rated to 60W, and the USB–A port to 22.5W.p><p class=”wp–block–paragraph“>Like the other two models it carries a Smart Display, in this case a small circular touchscreen on the front face that shows output information and supports a flip screen orientation and touch operation, along with what UGREEN describes as animated expressions shown on the display. Unlike the 160W and 300W chargers, the 100W model does not offer app support, so monitoring is limited to the on–device display.p><p class=”wp–block–paragraph“>UGREEN lists compatibility with a wide range of charging protocols on this model, including AVS, PD 3.1, PPS, QC, SCP, AFC, BC 1.2 and Apple’s 5V/2.4A specification, and states this gives compatibility with more than 1,000 devices. Dimensions and weight both vary by plug region. The US version measures 63.7 x 63.7 x 36mm and weighs 252g (+/-10g), the EU version measures 63.7 x 77.9 x 36mm and weighs 260g (+/-10g), and the UK version measures 63.7 x 78.2 x 50.3mm and weighs 292g (+/-10g). Both units are also listed with a nine layer protection system covering overcurrent, overvoltage, short circuit, overtemperature, undervoltage, anti–interference, overpower and electrostatic protection, alongside flame retardant housing. The 100W four port charger is described as including Thermal Guard protection and multiple safeguards, though it is not covered by the same nine point breakdown supplied for the larger two models.p><h2 class=”wp–block–heading“><strong>UgreenConnect App and Remote Monitoringstrong>h2><p class=”wp–block–paragraph“>The 160W and 300W chargers both connect to the UgreenConnect app over WiFi or Bluetooth, letting each port’s output be checked and, within limits, adjusted remotely rather than only from the charger’s own display. UGREEN says the app also supports customisable charging protocols for advanced users and delivers over the air firmware updates, so the charging behaviour of the units can be refined after purchase. The 100W four port charger is the one model in the range without app support, relying solely on its built in display for monitoring.p><h2 class=”wp–block–heading“><strong>Availability and Pricingstrong>h2><p class=”wp–block–paragraph“>The materials shared with press ahead of the 6 August 2026 embargo do not include recommended retail pricing for any of the three chargers, and UGREEN has not yet confirmed which markets or retailers will carry the Nexode Pro Series at launch.
